We offer our customers the option of personalising our polyester webbing, braids and ribbons (flat substrates) using the process known as sublimation. It is a technique that uses heat-sensitive inks that turn into gas when heated. The ink then bonds to the polyester substrate.
The advantage of this technique is that the ink penetrates the textile fibre: the image is not on the surface but deep within, so it does not crack or fade, even after many washes.
This technology also makes it possible to print several colours simultaneously, in four-colour process.
